BACKGROUND SCENERY - PAGE 2
We are heading into
Reading.
The PWRR has had two
stations based on the HO
station by Whit Towers. The
factory wall was part of the
first one.
Ample use has been made of
paper structures commonly
available. They were glued
to the canvas panels.
The factory wall on the right
is from a Lehigh Valley
Models warehouse.
The Reading Pagoda is
painted in the distance.
The Philadelphia skyline is
represented on larger
30" X 40" canvases.
We're finally at the Eastern
end of the PWRR which is
in Southern New Jersey.
The original PW was based
in NJ.
On the right is the old RCA
building.
On the right is Camden city
hall.
The famous Harbor Club is
on the left and Our Lady of
Lourdes Hospital is on the
right.
On the left is the house I
grew up in. We are now at
our terminus in
Collingswood, NJ where we
interchange with the
Pennsylvania Reading
Seashore Line (PRSL).
The PATCO High Speed Line
is painted. I wish it was
available in S scale When I
worked for Conrail in Philly, I
took it to work.
