Color codes for the car cards based on Staples multi-colored
card stock.

SALMON = Box Cars and Reefers
YELLOW = Hoppers and Special cars like Covered Hoppers
PINK        = Tank Cars
RED         = Flat Cars and Passenger Cars
GREEN    = Gondolas and Work Cars (MOW)
SOME COMMON AAR TYPES
X - Boxcar types
XA - auto parts
XM - plain box
XP - equipped for specific loading

R - Refrigerator types
RP - mechanical refrigerator
RS - ice bunker refrigerator
S - Stock cars
SM - single deck
SD - double deck

G - Gondolas
GB - solid bottom
GS - dump bottom

H - Hoppers
HM - two hopper bays
HT - three ore more hopper bays
F - Flatcars
FA - mullitlevel rack car (motor vehicles)
FC - TOFC/COFC flat
FD - depressed center flat
FM - plain flat

L - Special car types
LO - covered hopper may be subcoded
  for commodity groups
LOF - food products
LOC - chemicals
LOM - minerals, cement
LP - pulpwood rack
LU - all-door box

T - Tank cars
TC - chemicals
TP - petroleum
TF - food products

as text or cut and paste the result into a word processor or spreadsheet.

Car Card Create
This is a template used for car cards. It was
created in MSWord by creating a two row and
one column table and pasting the card cards that
were created into it. Each side of  the cardstock
produces 6 car cards. I then reverse the card in
the printer and then can get 6 more car cards on
the sheet therefore getting a total of 12.
